1908, Foreign Offices in China multi-redirected postcard from Peking, a striking and multi-franked card, originating from Peking, and transiting through various foreign post offices in China, with Japanese Offices in China grey ½ sen (Sc. 2), China Imperial Post ½c brown (Sc. 110), French Offices in China 2c on 5c green (Sc. 57), German Offices in China 2c green (Sc.48), Russian Offices in China 1k blue overprinted (Sc. 1), and Austrian Offices 3h magenta (Sc. 112), each cancelled with appropriate c.d.s. of the office, further struck with rare double-circle Marine Detachment Peking handstamp, an exceptionally well-traveled card, with postmarks dated throughout July and August, 1908, visually striking and scarce. 1925 (May 24), Prague Olympic Congress, set of three on autographed document, tied by Prague Congress event c.d.s., five days before the Congress, affixed with black and white photo depicting a group of men outside the Tyršuv dum, signed by a number of individuals on front and back, presumably participants in the Congress, with reference to Sokol, note one signature appears to be that of Canadian William (Billy) Sherring, who won the marathon race in the 1906 Athens Olympics, another signature appears to be that of Karel Dvorak, some toning in places, but a rare document, ideal for a specialist collections of Czechoslovakia or the Olympic Games.
