Little America letter 1935 - 23 Jan from Captain Innes Taylor to "Ken". "It was thoughtful of you to write me - many thanks. We are working night & day getting ready to load the ships. In a few weeks we'll be in N.Z. maybe in Christchurch, when I shall hope to have the pleasure of seeing you. Good Luck." Letter from one of the Byrd II Antarctic Expdn members on possibly "Jacob Ruppert" or "Bear of Oakland". These ships arrived in Antarctica in Jan 1935 to load Expdn equipment etc & left on 7 Feb 1935 for Dunedin, NZ. Fine condition - pencil written letter.
