Incoming Mail: 1868 (Jun 1) small envelope franked Great Britain 3d and 6d (both with faults) tied by Sunderland duplex, endorsed "Via Panama", addressed to a Naval Captain at Riverton which lies far south on south Island, sent in closed mail via St Thomas, colon and Panama to wellington, where additionally franked 3d. violet tied by duplex of JY 3 and sent to Invercargill with arrival cds of Aug 10. 1936 Bradbury Wilkinson tamp-size undernominated engraved essay die proofs with portrait of King Edward VII facing three-quarters to left, each with frame and inscriptions as subsequently adopted for the KGVI 1/2d to 9d, respectively in carmine (with the portrait of the King in military uniform) and in blue-green (with portrait of the King in garter robes).
