Air Mails. 1931 (Nov 5) Cover to Warri franked four 1½d stamps cancelled by three "INTERNAL AIRMAIL / LAGOS" skeleton datestamps, a fourth strike alongside, Warri backstamp (Nov 6). Carried on the November 6th experimental flight from Lagos to Warri and Port Harcourt (where the plane suffered an engine failure, the remaining flight to Tiki, Cameroons, being abandoned). Tears to flap, left edge and base all repaired, but very scarce, fewer than ten covers recorded. Photo on Page 210. (Image1)
