A few oddments, comprising of four 1880s-90s covers (3 with 2nd Sideface adhesives), two different "Pelorus Jack" postcards, a 1920 incoming 2d KGV Registration Envelope from London to Palmerston North, and two N.Z. Active Service Envelopes from Egypt to Masterton with Army Post frankings. (9 items).
BOER WAR CONTINGENT: May 1901 On Active Service cover, posted at DURBAN and although clearly marked "Soldier's Letter", the cover has been taxed 1d, with a 1d Postage Due affixed on delivery in Auckland; Wellington b/stamp.
