Mining: printed 'POSSESSION' notice on cloth with NSW Government imprint dated 1934. The Possession Notice has been annotated in pencil with John Rodgers killed by fall of earth 1938 in this claim. A handwritten copy of a newspaper report on the death included. A rare survivor in surprisingly good condition and a reminder of the risks of this sort of mining.
