Cigarette cards: 1928 "Lawn Tennis", publ John Player (overseas issue) x 31 diff ex set of 50. Action sepia photos of star players. Almost all fine (no 28 with small back stains). Murray cat £155.

Greeting cards: Victorian GB group of 5 folded-type c1890s-1900s period, all die-cut or heavily embossed, all with flower theme. One (publ R Tuck) fine unused, others used (all fine). One with celluloid cover. Very attractive.

Military colln of 820+v & 17 m/s, mint/MUH/used, featuring War planes/ships/tanks, uniforms & WAR TAX stamps in s/b. Noted NZ 1920 Victory set used (1/- parcel pmk).

Postcard: French WWI embroidered silk PPC "A Branch of White Heather Just For Luck" (heather & ribbon design). M/s message on back. Some faint toning, especially on mount.

Postcard: French WWI embroidered silk PPC "Right is Might" (allied flags x 4 on 4 leaf clover design). Overall toning on gauze backing but embroidered design is unaffected. Unused.

Postcard: GB c1905 giant-sized (14 x 27cm) photographic portrait PPC of "Miss Gertie Millar", English stage actress, publ Rotary Photographic Co, GB. Message side headed "Giant Card. Book Post" & postage rates given as ½d with no message but 1d message. M/s message & NZ address, but not posted. Such large cards are rare. Minor faults.

Postcard: NZ c1915-20 period "Trafalgar St, Nelson, NZ" real photo view card, publ FN Jones, not numbered. Animated scene looking up street to cathedral on hill. Flyspotting along top (more on back than front) but still an attractive item.

Postcards: Tillicoultry, Scotland c1915 matching sepia view cards x 5 (incl 4 town scenes, 1 PU 1916 from there to WWI NZ soldier at Sling Camp, Salisbury Plain). Also 2 greeting PPCs canc Tillicoultry cds 1916-17, to same addressee, & fine printed invitation card from the Town Clerk, "Welcome to Returned Members of H.M. Forces", March 1919. Fine social history. Nice condition.
