1948 U.S. Olympic Committee "Victory Stamp" Imperforate Cinderella, a group of 4 full sheets of 40, all in different colours, issued "to help raise the funds required to send the foremost amateur athletes in the United States to the 1948 Olympic Games". We also note some lovely farm scenes, buildings, etc., mostly from Manitoba, and we note some mailed from towns such as Norwood Grove MB, Poplar Point MB, Lauder MB, Louise bridge MB, Marysville NB, one is postmarked Pearceton (with only "Q" at bottom), etc. Also includes three archival photos from the Manitoba Archives depicting Winnipeg buildings in the 1870s and 1880s. Set of Two Different New Brunswick RPO C.D.S. Datestamps, both are short-handled (thumper) style, with "ST STEPHEN & EDMUNSTON R.P.O." (lettering is well worn from use). Also a "HALIFAX & CAMP. R.P.O. " (lettering is still fine). Both instruments are in very fine condition and without indicia. Both are offered in an original Pritchard and Andrews wooden box with a proof impression on a label on front for a similar New Brunswick railway datestamp, this one "H"X & CAMPBELLTON R.P.O." with proof date of "E / JUL 23 / 10", also including a full complement of 52 indicia slugs, including an E and W, suggesting this set is original to the RPO box. Box has a missing piece where the lid slides in and has a pencilled "stamps" on lid, still very rare and desirable. (Image)

Possibly Unique New Brunswick Oval #10 Grid Obliterator, having originally been used in Dalhousie, then in White's Cove, New Brunswick. This is a short-handled (thumper) style wood and brass obliterator, showing good wear on the brass, and in very fine condition.
