Johore. 1874 Menu printed on yellow silk with purple braiding around the edges, for a dinner held at the Palace at Johore for Sir Andrew Clarke, Governor of the Straits Settlements, and his wife, printed in Malay, headed "ISTANA-JOHORE" and dated "22 Moharrum, 1291". Minor staining, attractive and rare.

Labuan. 1911-12 Picture postcards to England, all from crew members on H.M.S "Merlin", franked Straits KEVII 4c purple cancelled by double ring "POST OFFICE / LABUAN" c.d.s type D9, code "A" (2), "B" or without code. (4).
