POSTAL HISTORY: KGVI covers with many airmails including a few with Coronation & Centenary frankings noted 1939 to France at $1.20 rate, 27.5.1940 to GB at $1.15 rate, 14.3.1941 to USA at $3.50 rate; 1941 five to Australia 10.3.41 at $1.15 for ship to Singapore then air, 14.3.41 registered at $1.40 for the same service, 28.6 & 5.9.41 both 'Over the Hump via Rangoon' at $1.50 each, and 24.10.41 endorsed "Over the Hump" but almost certainly sent by surface mail; post-war 1947 to USA at $1.30 rate with 'BY AIR TO OFFICE OF EXCHANGE ONLY', 1948 with Peking sender's address to NZ with $2 solo, 1949 six with UPU frankings including 80c solo; etc, condition variable still a very good lot for development.
