1887-1919 Collection written up on pages with many varieties, proofs, specimens, a few covers, forgeries, etc., including 1887 plate proofs (3), 1892 2c on 3c block of twelve with surcharge omitted from two stamps, 1893 plate proofs and imperf vertical varieties, 1898 proofs and specimen overprints or perfins, 1898 postage due specimens, 1902 overprints with varieties and large blocks, 1904 overprint varieties, 1904 proofs, 1906 specimens, 1910 proofs and specimens, 1914-15 overprints with varieties, etc. A fine lot. c.1889 Legitime essays, 1c - 50c set of eight with surcharged values, also additional 1c and 10c essays, and four similar 3c - 20c essays with central coat of arms instead of the Legitime portrait. Very scarce, fewer than half a dozen essay sets recorded. (14). Photo on Page 104. (Image1)

1910 2c Black and red die proofs, one on card with die number above mounted onto a larger card, the second without die number die sunk into a large card (134x155mm) endorsed "OK 10/27/09" and initialled. (2).

1910-14 1c.dep - 1p and 1c.deg in new colours, all in mint blocks of four. Very scarce as most stamps received the new presidential overprint in 1914 (and many were postally used), fewer than 4,000 unoverprinted stamps issued for the 3c, 4c, 7c - 10c, 50c and 1p values. 1920-69 Collection written up on pages with numerous Specimen stamps, 1920 15c and 1942 Our Lady of Perpetual Succour 5g die proofs, etc. (100s).

1945 Red Cross issue, master die proofs with Red Cross (2), 1g proofs without the Red Cross (3), 1g - 25g die proofs (11), various colours, three reduced in size, the others mostly die sunk into large card, one signed by the artist. Also set with punch holes and Specimen overprint, the issued stamps and 1960 overprints. (33+).

1946 Capois-la-Mort issue, 50g handpainted essay, master die proof in red, 3c - 2g50 postage and 20c - 5g air die proofs in the issued colours with seven additional air die proofs, all die sunk on card. Also postage and air sets with punch holes and Specimen overprint, the issued stamps and 1953 overprints. (43+).

1949 75th Anniversary of the U.P.U, aborted issue featuring President Estime, original Photo used for the stamp portrait, photographic essays with unadopted Presidential portrait (3) and the approved portrait, compound master die proofs of the air and postage issues with both the unadopted and approved portraits, master die proofs of the approved design (2, one signed and approved by the Haitian Ambassador), die proofs of the 30c and 1g air stamps, the set of three (with additional 5c) with punch holes and Specimen overprints, also the overprint set issued in 1950. 1949 Anti T.B and Malaria Relief Fund, die proofs (21) comprising a proof of the Red Cross, master die proof without Red C ross, master die proofs with the Red Cross (6), 1g25 proof in red without the Red Cross, set of six die proofs in issued colours without the Red Cross (reduced in size) or with the Red Cross, most mounted on or die sunk into large card. Also two sets with punch holes and Specimen overprints, set in mint singles and blocks of four, miniature sheets mint (2 of each) or used with F.D.C cancels (2 of each, one on cover), set on F.D.C, singles on F.D.C (2) or commercial covers (2). A fine group, most of this issue was unsold and destroyed, with fewer than 5,500 of any value sold. (75).

1953 Pictorial Definitives, Air issue master die proofs of the frame only in the six colours adopted for the set all die sunk into large cards (230x150mm) each with two punch holes, marked "For Approval" (with additional proof in brown, reduced in size), frame die proofs of the 30c brown (reduced in size) and 2g50 die sunk on India paper mounted on card, and die proofs of 2g50 die sunk on India paper and mounted on card, 5c, 10c and 30c proofs die sunk on large card, also 5c in unissued green colour and 30c both reduced in size, and the set of six with punch holes and Specimen overprint.
