1937-48 CERTIFICATES OF POSTING, ETC.: 21 Dec. 1937 large certificate of posting for a non registered packet posted at Reading with a ½d green. 1938-44 certificates of posting x 4, one without adhesives, the others with a single 2/6d green. 1947 label from London to Holland with 1/- & 5/- paying for a 11-22lb parcel. 23 Sept. 1947 "Aspinalls (PAINTS)" label bearing 6d & 5/- pair paying 11-22lb rate from Skipton to Sweden. 11 DEC. 1939 - COMPLETE SHEET OF 10/- DARK BLUE - USED: A complete sheet of forty (8 x 6) 10/- dark blue in a late state without the constant variety [13]. Cancelled with multiple large "LONDON/???" cds's and in top right margin a very smudged South American arrival cds. Some faults but in am exceptional state of preservation for such an item.
