1849 Entire letter bearing Ceres 20c black tied grille cancel and with rare large cachet PLOMBIERES 19 AVRIL 1849, backstamped PARIS 21 AVRIL. The letter is from the mayor of Plombiers to General Piat, an active Bonapatist who commanded five regiments at the battle of Waterloo.
