France Parody of 1936 50fr Airmail - Advertising / Publicity poster stamp issued in 1945 by stamp dealer and expert Edouard Berck, whose shop was located at 6 Place de la Madeleine in Paris. (The firm is still in business, as Elysabeth Berck, located at ?23, rue Drouot, in Paris). Includes a card mailed at philatelic show 1946 and large proof of label (numbered on back). The design of this stamp mimics the 1936 50Fr French airmail stamp. Interesting philatelic pieces of the past. (Est $50-80) (Image)
