FRANCE TO 1955 IN LIGHTHOUSE ALBUM. Begins with many early used stamps including (some faulty or severely cut-in), including Ceres issue to the 1fr, Republic and 2nd Empire issues nearly complete (missing 5fr gray), very nice selection of Peace and Commerce to the 5fr, fairly complete from about 1900, continues through the 1920s less the rarities, very powerful in the 1930s with almost every space filled, mint PEXIP sheet hinged in margin with few internal wrinkles, mix of mint and used from the late-1930s to 1955, but still many premium mint and NH stamps to be found, a remarkably clean and fresh collection with an enormous catalogue value, faults limited to the first few issues, worth a close look
