1927, Volo de Pinedo "SANTA MARIA", busta partita il 21.5.1927 da Trepassey (New Foundland) per Roma affrancata con Terranova 60 c. nero annullato in arrivo con il timbro circolare "ROMA CENTRO - CORRISPONDENZE ORDINARIE - 22.6.27.17", timbro di arrivo al verso, nota: l'amministrazione di Terranova, esauriti i 225 francobolli soprastampati per il volo, appose su altri 75 lettere lo stesso francobollo senza soprastampa, delle quali 20 non furono annullati perchè non era certo che giungessero in tempo per l'imbarco. Lettera molto rara (20 solo esistenti di questa tipologia) e ottimamente conservata, cert. Longhi e firma Giulio Bolaffi (Yvert 61).

Note: after 225 letters was franked with the overprinted stamp for this flight other 75 letters was franked with the some stamp without overprint and 20 of them remains uncancelled because it was not sure that they will arrive in time before the start of the airplane.
