A brilliant quality mint block of six with original gum. Three of the stamps are unmounted mint. There is a slight separation in margin (sensibly reinforced), which is inconsequential, and a couple of minor wrinkles as typically seen.
An attractive and very scarce block also benefiting from centring much above average for this issue.
This very attractive series of definitive stamps feature a contemporary portrait of Queen Victoria and maple leafs in each of the corners.
Fine quality, unmounted mint with full original gum. The right stamp has a tiny wrinkle mentioned purely for accuracy and not detracting from what is a key rarity.
A stunning quality mint pair with large margins and original gum. Most particularly benefiting from brilliant colour. Minor ink marks on reverse of right hand stamp do not affect lovely appearance.
The first stamp issues of Newfoundland, after becoming self-governing in 1855, are considered classics of the British Empire with the Royal Crown and Heraldic flowers of Great Britain paying homage to the British Crown.

The Stanley Gibbons catalogue value is £475.
A most appealing stamp issue from Newfoundland, the Province of Canada. The highest value denomination in the set being reserved to pay homage to the current reign at the time, King George V. Beautiful classic designs as follows:
Newfoundland 1932-38 2c green, perforations 14 (line), block of 4, comprising two horizontal pairs IMPERFORATE BETWEEN, SG223ca.
A fine unmounted mint block with full original gum. The only very minor defect is the upper pair shows a small area of faintly yellowish gum, barely worth a mention as otherwise very fine and fresh.
Very scarce with the imperforate between the stamps in a block of four and rarely found so fine.

An amazing collection which would be almost impossible to assemble today, arranged on 4 stock cards.
The Stanley Gibbons catalogue value is over £1,000++ as singles.

Scarce and attractive in this format, particularly in such pristine condition.
On March 1, 1939, supplies of the 20c denomination special delivery stamps of 1938 were overprinted and revalued, due to the greater need for 10c denomination special delivery stamps. As such, the 20c stamps are much scarcer than the 10c denomination.
