China Empire and People's Republic: 1913-2001, Collection in three albums, including imperial issues mint and used; album with mint issues 1985-1998, with many attractive and better sets. Also complete yearbook 2001. Very tidy albums with material in excellent condition.

China Province Manchuria. 1928-29, threecomplete sets, SG 21-24, 25-28, 29-32; most are MNH, a few lightly hinged, one low-value stamp without gum, very minor browning of gum on a few stamps. (Image)

1933 (Sept) Red band airmail cover to Shanghai, franked on reverse Szechuan 1st issue 1c orange together with 2nd issue 2c green (17) and 3rd issue 10c lilac (2), all tied by "PAHSIEN/(CHUNGKING)" cds, on front with receiving Shanghai roller postmark on 8 September, an interesting and scarce mixed-issue franking. 1897-1911 Imperial Post. 1899 (9 Oct) envelope to Chesterfield, England, franked coiling Dragons 1/2c (2), 1c (3) and 2c (2) tied by fine Ningpo bilingual cds, additionally franked Hong Kong 10c tied by Shanghai index c cds and by the rare small IPO handstamp, reverse with Shanghai transit (10 Oct) and arrival cds (NO 24), envelope a little roughly opened with some tears on reverse, some slight ageing, still a good example of this rare tie print of Ningpo. Chinese Republic. 1913 (May 28) registered cover to Germany franked 1912 Commemorating the Republic 3c. to 50c. with each stamp tied Swatow bilingual cds, registration handstamp bottom left, reverse with Shanghai (1 Jun) and Moukden (4 Jun) bilingual cds and Wilhelmsburg arrival of 15.6., some slight tones on 10c and 20c but generally fine appearance. Combination franking The Netherlands & China: 1913 picture postcard sent on 2/8/1913 from Vlissingen to Pekin, on arrival the pencil name and address were reinforced with black ink and redirected on 13/9 to Peitaiho "West End", arrival cancellation on front. The Netherlands stamp is missing a corner, and some other small faults not detracting from this rare and unusual forwarded circulation. Fine. (Image)
