1864, Rivadavia 10c green semi-worn impression and 15c blue clear impression, perforated 11½ on entire 18 Nov. 1864 from Concordia to Buenos Aires. Stamps cancelled centrally by a single blue oval Concordia postmark with ornaments. A scarce, fresh, and very attractive bi-colour franking to pay the five-fold letter rate; signed Pascal Scheller; ex Dale-Liechtenstein and Pack. (Image)

1892-1905 "Tres Próceres" Issue, an amazing assembly of proofs, essays and specimens, with 160+ die proofs incl. many composite die proofs, each including two, four or six examples, 600 essays on paper and card with many in blocks of four and some with marginal imprints (the great majority imperforate), and 350 stamps overprinted "Muestra" (the great majority in multiples or part sheets). 1929 (Oct 31) Comodoro Rivadavia - Buenos Aires First Flight by St.-Exupéry, franked 20c and tied by Comodoro Rivadavia Oct. 30 cds, reverse shows a Bribada Oct. 31 transit and two-line red "Por VIA AEREA / Aeroposta Argentina S.A." handstamp, very fine, one of 70 flown (Muller 61, 4'500 points). 1852-1867 exhibition collection from the Provinces, starting with some "FRANCA" covers and the complete unissued set Buenos Aires 1857, Barquitos the complete set of eight stamps incl. A 4 Cuato (signed Kirchner and Stanley Gibbons), 5 Cinco yellow (Michel set 7000 EURO). Buenos-Aires 1 Peso on cover 1861 and 2 P (cut into) on cover 1863, each to Rosario. Corrientes with the different prints and covers. Argentina main issues with very fine set used 1862 issue 5c black proof and covers and cancellations, Rivadavia with the Roberto Lange set of 3 and some proofs (the cpl. imperforated set with watermark unexpertised), perf set 1864 different printings and good range of covers. Exhibited many times in the 1980/1990´s, but now untouched for 3 decades, a good opportunity to buy such an advanced collection. (Image)
