'CINDERELLAS': 1898 'EXCURSION AU CONGO' poster stamps in red or blue vertical strips of 3 with a few faults but large-part o.g., plus the cover of the 'Inauguration du Chemin de Fer' booklet (repaired tears) & 1948 Golden Jubilee of the Railway 2fr50c x8 on commercial airmail cover to New Zealand. [Travel on the Congo River was interrupted by the Livingstone Falls. The railway line was built to speed communications. Approximately 1900 people - most of them black - died in the construction phase]

A very attractive prestamp cover. [Speightstown, 19km N of the capital Bridgetown, is the second largest town, & was once the largest port for sugar and slaves on Barbados]
