1807-17 incoming and outgoing mail, two folded letters, the earlier being prepaid and sent from Liverpool to Road Town, Tortola, endorsed "p. Pacq.t with two encl.'s", which exaplains the "6/3" rate applied, with "1 bit" local charge, the other sent to Kendal with "Tortola/18Jun17" two-line datestamp, charged 2s 4d, with one tear in upper and lower edges which has been reinforced with tape, still though a very neat strike of the postmark.
