1880 2c black brown, Special Printing, without gum as issued, incredibly fresh, proof-like impression, centered to top, fine and completely sound example of the 2c 1880 American Bank Note Company special printing, with 2000 PFC. Only 47 certified examples of No.193 have been recorded, of which almost half have faults (mostly thins). 1880 30c greenish black, Special Printing, without gum as issued, perfectly centered, wide margins all around, v.f. 30c 1880 American Bank Note Company special printing, with 1994 and 2001 PFCs, also 2009 graded (VF 90) PSE certificate 1998 PFC. The Philatelic Foundation records 44 examples of No.201, of which 16 have faults (usually a thin spot). Only 10 are confirmed as sound and only 7 have decent centering, probably none as nice as this beautiful stamp (SMQ $28,500) cat. $20000 (Cat No. 201) (Image)

A fine appearing example of the 90c 1880 American Bank Note Company special printing. The Philatelic Foundation records approximately 41 certified copies. This is one of the rarest of all Bank Note special printings, signed "W.H.C." (Colson), with 2007 PFC.
