Addressed to Galway, Ireland and prepaid both the 6 cents treaty rate plus 8 cents registration using the 1864, 3¢ Nesbitt entire uprated with 1869, 2¢ brown + 1870, 3¢ green, pair and single. Letter landed at Londonderry with reverse bearing a Galway arrival stamp for August 23rd 1870 on reverse. Atlantic Transit of 9 days; stamp nick and cover edge restoration, Very Fine appearance.
