1873 1c Small Queen, Perforated 11½ x 12, a mint block of 9 (3 x 3) with full original gum, never hinged. A truly wonderful block, and rare in such pristine condition, as all the stamps have wonderful centering, the gum is flawless and the block is quite fresh. 1890 6c Red Brown Small Queen, a group of 14 mint never hinged stamps, including a strip of three, single, block of four and 3 pairs. Five of the stamps (two pairs and a single) show various positions of the "pitted plate" variety. Collection of Roughly 650 Used Small Queen Issues, with a few mint stamps, and 24 covers, in roughly 30 Vario-style stock pages, housed in a binder. The collection is organized by denomination, from the ½c to the 50c, with both Ottawa and Montréal printings. The majority of stamps range between 1c and 3c, along with ½c (x10, with a block of 6, and strip of 5), 5c (x29), 6c (x32), 8c (x39), 10c (x16), along with a 20c Widow Weeds and 50c Widow Weeds (x4). We note early printings with 1c orange and red orange, 3c copper red (x5) and roses (x30), 6c yellow brown (x13), and 10c magenta shades (x7), along with many dated town postmarks ranging from 1870 to 1898 (along with dated perforation 11½ x 12 stamps), constant plate varieties and more. The collection includes 24 covers (1c x5, 3c x16, 6c x3), generally solo frankings (including a few registered covers), ranging from 1875 onward, with two 3c covers from 1871.
