1839 folded outer letter sheet to London with 'Paid 8' & '2/2d' rate markings and a good strike of the undated circular 'PRINCE EDWARDS ISLAND' cancel with m/s 11 Feb 39. This letter was carried on the 'Magnet' that departed from Halifax on March 3 and arrived at Falmouth on March 26. Two vertical creases that do not affect any markings. A scarce early letter. (Image)
