1848-1859 "THE EARLY QUEEN VICTORIA "POST PAID" ISSUES: Collection of 13 single stamps, one unused, used else, including 6 stamps (plus one 1d. forgery of early impression) of Barnard's issues from early to worn impression, four singles of Lapirot's issues from early to worn impression on more or less blued paper, a single 2d. deep blue from the plate re-engraved by R. Sherwin (SG 40), and two stamps lithographed by L.A. Dardenne on laid paper with an unused 1d. and a 2d. on part front of cover. Several stamps with marginal faults and/or minor imperfections, but most of them quite good to fine. Please inspect carefully as this collection will be sold as it is. A scarce and attractive collection of mostly good stamps, various signed by experts. Value Add Taxes (19%) will be added to the hammer price and the buyers premium. (Image)
