Smooth Paper 1d bright brown-red ACSC #71O horizontal pair, Cat $500+. Scott Starling Certificate (2017) states "...a rare shade that is very rare in multiples".
Smooth Paper 1d scarlet-red with the Watermark Inverted 'CA' Monogram corner strip of 3 ACSC #71a(3)zb, well centred, minor faults & some reinforced perfs, Cat $1250 plus a significant premium for the watermark being inverted. Scott Starling Certificate (2017) states "a very rare combination".
Rough Paper 1d carmine No Watermark ACSC #72ab (SG 47k) with excellent centring, lightly mounted, Cat $6000 (£6500). A gem! Ex "Anglo-Saxon": sold at the Prestige auction of 16.8.2008 for $8000. RPSofV Certificate (1978).
1½d scarlet Electro 22 No Imprint block of 21 (7x3) ACSC #89(22)za on annotated page identifying varieties on twelve units, most units including the No Imprint block of 4 are unmounted, Cat $650++ (mounted).
2d scarlet with '21' in Left-Hand Value Tablet ACSC #96(16)f, well centred, light 'WEST WALLSEND/19SE23/NSW' cds clear of the variety, Cat $3500. Superb! [The ACSC states "...extremely rare in red"]
4d orange monogram block of 6 with Plate 1 'CA' monogram and adjoining unit with 'White Flaw Behind Emu's Leg' ACSC #110(1)zb, unmounted (hinge remain in margin only), some minor gum toning but still very attractive, Cat $1500 for mounted mint corner pair only.
Comb Perf 5d yellow-brown with Major Damage to Upper-Right Corner & Nick in Upper-Left Corner + ½d green on 1920 double-rate cover to the USA with 'KAPUNDA' (SA) cds that intrudes slightly on the affected area at upper-right. This variety is not illustrated in the ACSC. An extremely rare usage on cover. [The rate was 2½d x2 + ½d War Tax]
