Rare Offering of 17 Different Ontario Illustrated Historical Atlas Publications, for the counties of Northumberland & Durham, Norfolk, Wellington, Perth, Oxford, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington, Brant, Middlesex, Leeds & Grenville, Elgin, Lincoln & Welland, Carleton, York (2 different), Hastings & Prince Edward, Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry plus Wentworth (this last one is soft cover). These were originally published between 1876 and 1879, by H.R. Page & Co. in Toronto and contain a great quantity of contemporary information such as business directory listings, historical county information, many very detailed maps, as well as engravings of buildings, famous local people, etc. These are mostly 1972 good quality reprints (except Wentworth, from another printer in 1971) by the Mika Silk Screening Limited in Belleville and are a great resource to the postal historian or Ontario history buffs. Very fine, the online pictures show pages from the Carleton book only, and are representative of the other county books. Rarely offered with so many different counties. (Image)
