Cachet applied to reverse (due to placement of addr.) and entitled "RETURN OF THE BLACK SHIPS". One cover had been sealed resulting in part of the cachet appearing inside the cover. On July 6, 1928 New York City held a ticker type parade for Wilmer Stulz, Louis Gordon and Amelia Earhart to celebrate the June 17-18, 1928 trans-Atlantic flight making Earhart first woman to cross the Atlantic by air. Cachet is rubber stamp in violet about Arkansas City, also on front is large Red/Blue arrow airmail etiquette stating "THIS LETTER/SENT BY/AIRMAIL//FOR SPEED/REPLY BY/AIRMAIL." Reverse has large handstamp in violet for Monticello, Ark. and their famous tomatoes. Also has red H.R. Harmer Inc FDR collection authentication stamps. While not inspected yet in the U.S., Netherlands had been invaded by Germany in May, 1940.
