3259 LARGE ACCUMULATION OF U.S. NAVY RELATED MATERIAL, over 5000 covers, mostly related to the U.S. Navy in some way including classic ship postmarks from 1909-1916, ship cancels from the 1920's through the 1990's, Navy bases, ports-of-call and events. Some foreign ship markings and other military markings also. An interesting group of 1898 covers with letters sent to the apothecary on board the U.S.S. Dixie and the U.S.S.
