1623 OG   imageFresno and San Francisco Bicycle Mail Collection,includes corrected die singles on locally addressed cover to Walter Banta with #220 and tied by the usual parallel lines cancel with a a Fresno Jul 10 1894 duplex tying 2c and a "Victor Bicycle Messenger Service" handstamp on back (cover faults not affecting stamps or markings), imprint on unused 2c Plimpton envelope (portion of an address label remains), retouched die pane of six NH and block of four from the pane NH, defaced die imperf blocks of four and six, defaced die used as part of Victor Cyclery cc on unmailed envelope, defaced die on a Victor Cyclery letterhead/ promotional sheet, mint examples of the original and recut dies (Scott 12L1, 12L2, the latter stuck in a mount and faulty), four covers from 1935 San Francisco-Fresno bicycle relay round trip franked with with reprints of the original bicycle stamp, same on two 1944 covers honoring the bicycle stamp "Golden Jubilee", finally a cover with hand-drawn cachet mimicking the original bicycle stamp, usual mixed condition, a Fine collection of this popular issue (see online scans)
