5111 OGO   UNITED STATES REVENUES,  on 25 black stock pages. Starting with R1 you'll find a majority of the first issues through $10 denominations, including some imperf, part perf, and a variety of shades. The second issue includes plenty of desirable denominations through $2.50. The third issue is represented by a smattering of issues up to dollar values R144-5 and R147. Battleships from R162 through R172 are included with both roulette and hyphen-hole varieties, including a few multiples. A couple of documents with stamps affixed round out this lot. Well worth a close inspection.

5117 NHOGO   MESSY GROUP OF U.S.,thrown together into a large box in no particular order, upon brief examination, I noticed: a stock page of mint and used Columbians, lots of loose Washington / Franklins (mint and used), banknotes, some classics, Confederates, airmails and back of book, a page of banknote postage dues (incl. some on piece), revenues, mint postage due plate blocks, 64 slightly melted o.g. with Weiss cert (Scott $14,000), #31 used (Scott $1,200), unused Columbian full envelopes, a page of faulty classics, 648 NH plate block (Scott $425), 498 rare fold-over error, mint RW2, some Shanghai’s, #300 plate block, various better officials, RW1-2 used on license, 1LB8 Government City Dispatch on cover with #26 (Scott $225) and group of dealer tear sheets with some better sets and singles. Condition and centering are mixed, so some faults should be expected, but make sure you take a view because there is much more to be found here!

5119 NHOGO   LARGE COMPLETELY DISORGANIZED U.S. BALANCE ACCUMULATIONin several large boxes, containing lots of envelopes and glassines packed with stamps, sorted and labeled with Scott nos. (most correctly) and over 15 beginner to intermediate collections and stock books. As I briefly looked through these boxes, I noticed many better stamps incl a couple 90c banknotes, a group of 70/78 and other higher value 1861 issues, lots of banknotes and lots of stamps with catalog values to hundreds of dollars. I wish I could offer a better list of highlights, but the truth is, this group has gems hidden among piles of flotsam and jetsam, so proper describing is difficult. Viewing is the best way to properly evaluate this lot.
