2144   imageAguinaldo Revolutionary Government, 1898 Type I Provisional Postage Cover to Bohol, type I marking ("Sello" inscription) on small envelope with ms. "S.N." (Servicia National), light strike of a Filipino Revolutionary Govt handstamp with another partial strike on back along with an ms. "captured/ unopened", cover bit reduced at each side, Fine and rare with just six covers known with the type I provisional handstamp; this (and the type II) block markings were used after the First Philippine Congress held in Sept 1898. The other five type I covers indicated use from the northern portion of Luzon; this example lacks any origin markings which is consistent with local mails of the time.
