Virtually complete used collection in a well filled Lighthouse album, from 1949 through to the 1970s virtually complete incl 1949 Italy ERP, Trieste Zone A, Germany 1950 ERP and all the other better sets from Greece, Luxembourg, Belgium and above all Portugal, F-VF.
Several 1000s of mostly used neatly arranged in 3 stock books, mostly 1960s/80s issues and strongest in "flowers" issues, sets, short sets and singles with plenty of large colorful issues from wide variety of countries from Albania to Zambia, mostly F-VF.
An extraordinary accumulation housed in 1 thick volume with the overwhelmingly majority non-Scott listed, often in association with various privately promoted space enterprises celebrating the space age and its development. For example, unusual zeppelin sheets, exhibitions based for polar flight m/s including 1 mark imperf m/s, (with very limited printing numbers). Also seen the 3mk zeppelin, perforated as part of a postcard m/s, mint and used! Then numerous other zeppelin postcards and collateral material, as well as Deutsche Luftpost m/s often on cover, celebrating 50 years of the first issues of this including the Gelber Hund. Also present an interesting section of 'perf-ins' mint and on cover of regular definitives, specifically for airpost exhibition, again with low numbers available as such. Also seen Luposta 1962 vignette and rocket m/s, including those cut square on cover. So much more here and this collector has clearly spent many 1000s of dollars in accumulating this history of rocket post and zeppelins. Finally, for the most part the collection is chronologically and methodically ordered and - because many of the low printing numbers - it will be very difficult to replace again. An opportunity for the specialist not to be easily missed.

Condition is mixed, with the majority of the stamps appearing sound. Nice lot for dealers as it has already been broken down for individual sales. Viewing suggested to properly evaluate.
A last minute entry with virtually all photograph material, so please value carefully with the use of the appropriate catalogues, as there is much specialized material and considerable non-Scott listed, as well as postal history and the value will add up very quickly; this is a must-sell instruction and a highly recommended viewing for a dealer or auction house.
