1680   imageJack Swigert Autograph on Apollo 13 cover (1931-82; US Astronaut),

Swigert was a last minute replacement for astronaut Ken Mattingly, one of the three man crew of Apollo 13 aboard its ill-fated mission April 11, 1970, he remained with NASA until 1977 when he retired, he won his bid for a congressional seat in 1982, but quickly succumbed to cancer and passed away before he could be sworn in. An interesting autograph by an interesting individual. Very Fine (Sanders $178 for autograph alone)
