3180 c   BERMUDA SPECIALIZED POSTAL HISTORY COLLECTION. A truly scarce holding of 170 covers / postal stationery / 89 picture pcds / 9 fronts presented in large cover album and postcard album.  Accumulated over many years, this collection has something from all eras and with attention to many of the better collectible areas from the island including: WWI censors with CM12 on local cover to Colonel Hamilton (censor), incoming from USA/Canada, reg. dock usage; then followed by better WWII censors with CM21 21, 33, 39 censors, British Navy censors, IC covers; then aerophilately with zep covers, combo franking “Cavalier” cover, better 1930’s flights including the scarce Horta-Bermuda 1939 flight, Docks Hamilton cancel, commercial HMS Dragon cover with enclosure, other paquebot usages, local mails from 1933 to the QEII era, used KGV-KGVI p. sty including registered envelopes, wrappers, and nine airletters (all types), QV 1/2p green (5) on commercial cover with 1894 duplex, 1899 QV usage with U.S. Consulate imprint on reverse, 1d Dock cover from Warwick West, rare OHMS cover with “Governor” imprint sent to Sir Brusdeall White (Lt General) in Australia, numerous Caravel covers with better cancels like Devonshire and rate study, KG V Tercentenary usages, KG VI rate study with scarce reg., cancels and unsealed letter rate usages; QE II with only commercial usages with many misc. handstamps, dues, parcel card usage, and concludes with interesting array of incoming covers from different eras and areas including a QV Canada p. sty card uprated with small queen, QV usages from the UK, etc. and 89 ppc’s, primarily early to middle period (mint and used) with many scarce views and usages.  A diverse specialist holding from a very popular area for the collector or dealer.

Mills of Fiji in original envelope, a fantastic study of the Commercial Pacific Cable Company and the Islands that were on the direct route were the cable was to be laid, formed and accumulated over many years this is a fantastic start for a Gold Medal Exhibit, most are F-VF. ex-Krupnick
