3420 og,O   SPECIALIZED AZERBAIJAN COLLECTION. a most interesting and engaging collection of a few 100s of stamps from the imperial Russian stamps used in Azerbaijan, the occupation issues and finally the pictorials neatly arranged and annotated on quadrille pages, the collection starts with used multiples and singles of the high value Tsarist issues through to multiples of imperfs of the later issues of the same in different colors, then the series of 13 arms type with the diagonal occupation overprints including a study of both large and small types, as well as the different nuances on the overprints i.e. shiny, dull, thin, thick etc., followed by the so-called pictorials and their accompanying surcharges - including some not contemporaneous - involving the 1919 first and second Mussawat issues, different printing/reference, used multiples including much that is authentic, also a little postal history and miscellany, usual mixed condition with most F-VF, a desirable collection from this underappreciated area.

3429 og,O   SPAIN STOCK BOOK ARRAY. several 1000s in 2 well filled substantial stock books with approx equal amounts of mint and used, as a throw-in also note some Portugal, Andorra etc., the Spain mint book starts with the classics imperfs, includes some better sets of the 1930s, as well as a balanced representation including the airmails through to the 1950s and then the popular "Coats of Arms" and "Costumes" series complete, general speaking up to half a dozen of each and finishing with several dozen civil war / propaganda items, etc. The used follows a similar pattern, although there are about 50 imperfs including 1 (3 incl one red cancel), other highlights include a four margined 1852 5rs and a good number of very attractive stamps with useful assortment of cancels, similarly with the perforated issues (some typical punch cancels), the 20th century follows the same pattern as the mint including the back of the book non-Scott listed and Civil War issues of Badajoz, Cadiz, Cordoba, Chimeneas through to Zaragoza, etc., typical mixed condition incl some dubious 19th century as often, mostly F-VF, a pleasant lot to view with much hidden value.

 In a Scott album, from the banco issues onwards, also 1858/61s 50o, 1872/77 to riksdaler, 1876/79 and thereafter complete, through to turn of the century, note the 20th century is virtually complete (save the rarities) with coils and then commems, all the way through to the 1990s, no cancelled to order here and yet some beautiful postmarks present, mostly F-VF, far more than a foundation collection.

3436 og,O,c   SWITZERLAND STAMP COLLECTION/ACCUMULATION WITH POSTAL HISTORY. The lot has two specialized albums, three stock books, and over 75 pieces of postal history.  The albums are of high quality with much specialized by Zumstein, with sparse early, though a good Rayon and several seated Helvetias present, but picks up with a very fine specialized group of standing Helvetias and then followed by other periods with many better values/varieties with coverage to varying degrees of the many specialized areas of tete beche pairs/blocks, soldier stamps, cancels, varieties, multiples, and even some better S/S.  The stock books have numerous mint and VF used singles and multiples from all periods with items like Scott B45-48 MNH sheets, and 204-205 MNH sheets, and a very specialized holding of numerous machine cancels with better slogans usually in use for only a few days, varieties, etc.  The covers have some better values and usages, with about half from the early to middle period and the rest being more modern period FDC’s and better commercial (express) usages, etc.  A great lot for the specialist collector or dealer or someone wishing to embark on a new collecting challenge!
