Then the 1906 views complete used, birthday series virtually complete mint inc. 2k green, etc, through semi-postal overprints with types, to the 1917 assassination memorial series complete on cover and card, useful postage dues, etc, etc. A useful collection for the specialist with some excellent 19th century. Please inspect.

Please study the photplate to get a flavor of this holding, clearly formed many decades ago, representing a work in progress for a  ,lifetime&rsquo,s collecting of Brazil by an old timer. An opportunity with plenty of non-Scott listed material to buy one of philately&rsquo,s most popular countries today, this could easily break up into several dozens lots or form the basis of a very good specialised collection of Brazil. Mint and used collection of many hundreds of stamps, virtually all one of a kind, from the first issues up to the 1960s in an old Schaubek album. There are hardly any empty spaces here, with highlights including 1879 lions #1 5cts black and orange mint, 10cts black and green with green postmark (#2, signed), 50cts black and blue with a blue postmark (#4) and the 1fr used (#5), followed by all the other regular lions thru the 1884/5 surcharges all signed, including litho and typo surcharge types on the 15s on 25s blue used (#21, 21D). Then the 1880s postage dues inc. lozenge perf types again with signatures, through to comprehensive 20th century inc. 1907 25s Ferdinand mint (#76), 1911s complete to mint 3L, 1932 airposts complete mint signed (#C12/C14), both series of the Balkan Games issues mint (#237/250) with the scarce 1933 50L red brown and both the 1931 and 1933 top values signed, followed by 1935 soccer series with 50L trophy mint and almost imperceptibly hinged and again signed (#272), 1935 gymnastics series complete mint (#273/278), etc, etc. A pleasing collection with good 19th century and key 20th century series usually incomplete or missing in most collections, deserving careful inspection page for page to appreciate what is here, (ex-Fletcher Hodges).
Collection of miniature sheets and proof-style souvenir issues as issued and provided in "government circles" , housed on album pages, all postally valid, including the 1956 Valparaiso University sheet (see note after #C191), 1958 Osorno sheet (note ff #C193), 1958 Santiago Philatelic Exposition sheet (note ff #C194), then subsequent souvenir sheets inc. 1960 National Government (note ff #C220D), 1962 Football World Cup, 1966 Skiing World Championships and International Co-operation sheets, 1967 Lion&rsquo,s Club, 1967 Peruvian philatelists, 1968 founding of the mint, Isabel II visit, etc. A useful collection, with tip-top quality on these special souvenir sheets that are often missing from even advanced Chile collections. An opportunity for the specialist, offered intact as received.
A most interesting ,accumulation with 1000s of stamps, mint and used, well filled in 2 volumes, covering virtually all areas of China here, starting from the first Dragons onwards, the 19th century however is not in such good condition as the 20th. Nevertheless this is an extraordinary lot representing many years &ndash, including the years when China was not so hot &ndash, of stripping down from worldwide collections, mixed lots, boxes etc, from auctions as well as privately. , It is an enormous "work lot", as much of the presentation is completely out of chronological order. However some of the highlights seen include the wide margins on the large dragons 3 candarins with blue chop cancel (left hand lower corner removed), side by side to an extremely well centered, again the best type the wide margins 5 candarins this time with black chop cancel in need of soaking with minor thins and perforations problems at the bottom, still a very good looking scarce stamp. Also seen a large range of "Chinese Imperial Post" dragons including o/ps of different types, through to the regular early 20th century defins, followed by an extensive study of the martyr types with literally 100s of these issues, all one of a kind with many o/ps here to research. There is also a substantial showing of Peoples Republic of China, including primitives through to the Republic of China, the former requiring further investigation of the different types reprints and originals, of the late 1940s and early 1950s issues, through to better Mao later commems. Similarly with China/Taiwan with better artifact  ,and other series, virtually all one of a kind to re-present, for as mentioned plenty of stamps are "out of order". There is much more here than this outline description with many discoveries to make. Please study carefully, this very interesting holding deserves an unrushed viewing to appreciate the huge potential here.
