5143 c   Anthrax Irradiated Cover Collection,2001-2006 - Large group of over 90 covers, Irradiated against Anthrax, most have handstamp markings applied. Practically all were sent to/from government officials in Washington, DC. Included are the early "MAIL / SANITIZED" markings of 2001-2002 in Blue and Black, that were used shortly after the terrorist attacks of 2001. Also the boxed "MAIL SANITIZED" with date in center in Black and Bi-colored. Included are covers from Governors, Congressmen, and many sent to the Secretary of Energy, including several related to Eagle Scout Recognition. There are Plate # coil covers, and some sent from overseas. Also included are a few treated in the United Kingdom with "CHECKED" markings.
