Lot Symbol CatNo. Lot Description CV or Estimate
5146 c   EUROPA FDC EXTENSIVE HOLDING INCLUDING BETTER PERIOD,

Well over 1000 FDCs from the 1957 to 1975, with some duplication though nothing excessive quantities, ,with a ,reasonable spread. There are a few complete runs of some series, as well as the Luxembourg 1957 PAX series complete on one cover, the Liechtenstein honeycombs x6, 1960 Ireland and GB Europa series, etc, etc. First day covers from this period, especially the early 1960 issues have held their own in the market compared to the mint. Interestingly these are not often available today and this is clearly an opportunity for a dealer to buy an original holding, offered intact as received.

WORLDWIDE COLLECTIONS, ACCUMULATIONS & STOCKS

WORLDWIDE COLLECTIONS, ACCUMULATIONS & STOCKS
Lot Symbol CatNo. Lot Description CV or Estimate
5152 ogO   WORLDWIDE, A WANNABE DEALERS STOCK ESTATE, Disorganised, nearly all unpriced as accumulated quietly over many decades since the early 1970s by an old New England , client at Harmers. This represents a lifetime holding with much , material bought at auction and we have ,been instructed to have it all sold, this year. Therefore ,it has been offered as one lot, however we could have broken this lot down further, if time permitted.  ,A good number of the albums and stockbooks are worth , thousands of dollars each.  ,This should be sold to a potential buyer that has viewed it carefully and recognizes the huge potential for breaking this lot down. 20,000-25,000

SOLD for $22,000.00
Will close during Public Auction before Oct-30, 01:19 AM
5153 ogOc   WORLDWIDE, A CHAOTIC EXCITING AND VALUABLE BOX, A last minute, 59th second entry, we have had no time whatsoever to examine properly other than  ,mentioning that there is  ,much better worldwide here and it is very diverse. This will delight any collector or dealer looking for a winter project on singles and willing to work , very carefully on sorting this out. Not a particularly bulky lot, only a banker&rsquo,s box including the all the contents of a safety deposit of anything philatelic, including postal history. This is a lot that requires much study and deserves a serious viewing, especially due to the presentation being so difficult - , eg. there are some 100s of opaque glassine envelopes with many worth hundreds of dollars each. Definitely an opportunity for that rare breed today, the worldwide collector or dealer with a reasonable knowledge about everything!

15,000-20,000

SOLD for $13,500.00
Will close during Public Auction before Oct-30, 01:20 AM
5154 ogO   WORLDWIDE MISHMASH,

A late lot, we have seen plenty of better worldwide here on a very quick overview. This will delight any dealer, collector looking for 5 well filled medium size boxes, they include the all the contents of a stamp den, desk and anything remotely philatelic on the shelves including postal history everywhere. This is a lot that requires much work and deserves a serious viewing, definitely an opportunity (ex: Alexander).

SOLD for $11,500.00
Will close during Public Auction before Oct-30, 01:21 AM
5155 ogO   WORLDWIDE, 'BEST OF BEST',

What happens when a collector cherry picks decades of accumulating material into a single stockbook? If you study this lot with time you will see how good it is. Originally when this vendor came to us to consign a few years ago, his hoard of material filled almost a couple of rooms. We sold many boxes over a few sales and now have the pleasure of selling this one intense stockbook, specifically focusing on the rare and unusual items he discovered from such a huge accumulation. Proper viewing will take 1-2 hours, often it is presented &lsquo, stamp on stamp&rsquo, overlapping. This is ideal for a dealer or a collector looking for material often missing from most collections, especially in the classics.

15,000-20,000

5161 ogOc   WORLDWIDE HOARD. One of the few lots in this describer's career where it can accurately be said that there are well over 1,000,000 stamps in an accumulation, granted much of it is kiloware, bundleware, unsorted on/off paper (e.g. one box was labeled "104,000 (US) #1035 used), etc. but there are scores of stock books, beginner collections and balances, boxes and file drawers filled with glassines, sales and ,circuit books, etc., majority European or US and the "hoarder" seemed to have an affection for used blocks, topicals, note Guyana and 1950s/60s Czechoslovakia cto sheets, US plate number singles, etc., much more than meets the eye and viewing will require a bit of time, a true project for the long winter. 9,000-12,000
