4676 nh, c   GREAT BRITAIN SPECIALIZED COLLECTION 1840-1993. 11 ,volume Scott Speciality 3-Ring Albums, mounted on Scott specialty pages and occasional quadrille pages to supplement additional spaces need for covers or varieties, containing many good covers, blocks, ,and singles. Collection starts ,with stampless from Parlimentary Franklin system, to 1840 penny black on and off cover, a very rare 6c and 4c embossed on piece, 1p red on covers as well as a plating consisting of 5 pages of imperf and 15 pages of perforated, ,several pages of postal ,early postal stationary, then many ,pages of high ,catalog value ,Queen Victoria, £,1 ,green Queen ,Victoria, George VI definatives, Queen ,Elizabeth II ,definatives, and so much more. , ,Some mixed condition should be expected, mostly on used classics, with many interesting fine and better stamps to be found, with modern stamps mostly F-VF. 4677 ogO   GREAT BRITAIN VICRORIA / ELIZABETH II COLLECTION.

A comprehensive collection from 1840 onwards housed in 5 well filled albums, mint and used, starting off with 5 penny blacks listed by the collector as plate 1A, 1B, 2, 9 (and unidentified), four of the five with 3 to 4 margins each. Then penny red imperfs 1841 2d blue imperf x 5 including pair, followed by ,19th ,century penny reds and 2d blues, earlier better types, through to 1855/61 with a good range of penny reds including pairs and block of 4 superb used all plated, similar pattern with 2d blue from plate 7 through to plate 15, also embossed 1/- pair cut to shape left/ right side. The surface printed also interesting because there are occasionally some very attractive copies present, inc superb used cds 1861 six pence without hyphen, small squares through to 1/- similarly with large squares through to 2/-, inc 9d and 10d, 1873/1881 inc 6d on six pence o/p cds, 1883 to shilling green complete, jubillee complete with both shillings, also high values 2/6d to 10/- mixed condition, various QV fiscals as well as officials inc Government Parcel 1/- etc. Then EDVII also comprehensive with £,1 high value registered cancel and a study of different shades through to admiralty officials, the Mckennals and other KGV in depth also useful seahorses to 10/- with the latter high value light pmk, through to PUC, re-engraved to 10/-, KGVI to pounds inc 10/- dark blue, silver wedding and festivals to £,. The QEII replete with material from the first issues through to 1980s, the better watermarks are here complete on the defins, the phosphor graphites to the 4 1/2 ,d complete mint and superb used, followed by a study of the Machin head including blocks of 4 mint, similarly with the commems again mostly in blocks of 4 mint, through to postage dues this time virtually complete used from 1914 onwards, as well as other 'back of the book', again one of a kind. Collected over 25 years this is one man&rsquo,s substantial collection, a recommended viewing.
