3871 c   imagePeru, 8, 1858 1p Rose red, the extraordinary left margin block of 20 on 1859 cover to the Justice Department in Trujillo together with a single 1 peseta, all cancelled in manuscript. Reverse annotated in manuscript by sender at Hualgayoc on May 30, 1859. The top horizontal row creased, and first stamp with top margin touched, otherwise in splendid condition for a 21 times rate cover. Note the third stamp in second row with missing lower left corner Transfer flaw. A splendid and eye-catching cover bearing the largest known block of the 1 peseta value.

3872 c   imagePeru, 10, 1860 1p Rose, 1st printing, original design, the 1860 cover to Hualgayoc bearing an irregular block of 24 examples (Transfer Types 1-5/1-5 and 6-10/6-10) and some further examples appear to have been removed from the cover, cancelled by both the "Trux." dotted lozenge and by TRUJILLO straight line handstamps in black. Imperfections with some margins close or cut, one or two stamps with insignificant tears, Annotated by sender on reverse at Trujillo "Octbre. 23 de 1860". Rare and one of the largest multiples of this setting extant.

3875 c   imagePeru, 11, 1860/61 1p Rose, Second retouch, the extraordinary combination cover to Trujillo bearing the largest known block of the retouched 1 peseta red with a block of twenty (sheet marginal at both left and right, the narrowest vertical margin being the gap between the two transfer blocks: types 11-15 and 11-15/16-20 and 16-20), a horizontal strip of three (Types 1-2-3) and a single Lecoq issue 1862 1 d. pale vermilion, all tied by "Otusco" dotted lozenge cancellations in black. Reverse with manuscript docketing of sender (May 30, 1863). Block crossed by filing fold and small insignificant faults, but a remarkable and wonderful cover, a rare combination franking of the 1860 and 1862 issues, 2001 Moorhouse certificate, ,Gi 13.
