1305 c   Cover accumulation largely pertaining to Marblehead Massachusetts comprised of both incoming and outgoing mail including 1771 incoming letter, 1778 tax receipt, 1793 folded cover addressed in the hand of Alexander Hamilton with Philadelphia bishop mark datestamp, 1795 cover with straight line "Boston" handstamp, seven early 18th century covers with manuscript Marblehead postmarks, a red straight line "Ipswich Mass" handstamp on 1823 dated folded letter, various Marblehead datestamps, ship covers, hand carried letters, Trans-Atlantic covers, foreign frankings on incoming mail including 1854 three-color franking from India and a three-color franking from Mauritius, all housed in an oversized album, in addition these is another large album with 20th century covers including a couple Spanish-American war patriotics, a third album filled with covers franked by 1998 re-issues of the Trans-Mississippi as well as hundreds of loose covers of apparently little consequence, mixed condition as many were sought out for historical interest.
