807 og/nhO   Canadian Provinces mint collection housed in a Palo hingeless album, strength and bulk of value lies in the highly complete Newfoundland, which includes 1857 1d, 5d and 8d, 1860 2d and 3d (2), 1861-62 complete except #16, the Cents issues and sets are all complete to 1947 including #77 and 128, the air mails are complete except for the three rarities, as are the postage dues, the other Provinces are New Brunswick with used 1851 3d and 6d, Nova Scotia with used 3d dark blue and 6d yellow green (both with faults), and P.E.I., a few faults noted and some without gum, but overall quite clean, most o.g., l.h. or n.h., mostly fine-very fine and better. 808 og/nhObl   Canadian provinces mint and used collection consisting of only the provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, New Brunswick has a concentration of the 3d Red first issue (#1) with four used singles, used pair and strip of three and a single on cover to Amherst, Nova Scotia, also including a used 6d Olive yellow (#2) and the last perforated set mint, Nova Scotia also has a selection of first issue imperforates including a strip of three of the 1d Red brown, three 3d in both dark blue and bright blue and three 6d with two different shades of yellow green and a dark green, the last perforated set is complete in mint singles but also has a number of multiples, the scarce 5c is represented by a mint horiz. imprint pair, then there are ten blocks of four and seven blocks of ten of the other five more common values including some with imprints, also a 1c Black horiz. pair imperforate vertically, faults are present in the early imperforate issues with fine-very fine appearance or better, the mint are nearly all o.g. with numerous never hinged singles within the blocks, fine-very fine; an interesting collection of these two provinces; Scott catalog value as singles in excess of $17,500.00. 811 og/nhOblk   Czechoslovakia massive collection offered intact in eighteen large binders contained in two large boxes, this collection covers the stamp issues from this countries inception in 1918 to 1986, important value is found in the early issues starting with an extensive selection of the Hradcany issues, includes the better imperforate values as 150h Silver Gray(#36b), specialized perforated section with numerous perf. varieties as well as printing varieties, another important section is the "Posta/Ceskoslovenska/1919" overprinted semi-postals, includes numerous examples of the Austrian and Hungarian issues so overprinted with many better values, better items that we note include one mint and two used examples of the 10K Violet (#B21), a complete set of the Austrian air mails with this overprint, signed Sanabria (#B37-39), 10K Ultramarine (#B57) and numerous other better items including varieties such as inverted overprints, etc., many of these varieties and the better items are signed by various experts, primarily Gilbert, later issues are also extensive with numerous souvenir sheets and miniature sheets including the important Centenary of the National Anthem music Souvenir sheets with folder, also includes air posts, special deliveries, postage dues and other back of the book, plus numerous related areas as post WWII local liberation city post overprints, mint and used and on cover, Bohemia and Moravia and Slovakia including many tab values and gutter pairs, Czechoslovak Legion Post, Boy Scout issues and even a nice never hinged Theresienstadt concentration camp stamp signed Gilbert, this is a fascinating collection with all kinds of varieties plus essay and proofs, general condition is quite clean, many are on specialized album pages with notes, o.g. or used, never hinged are found in the mint, particularly in the more modern issues, overall fine-very fine; certainly a collection that is well worth examining to discover all the treasures here. 812 c   Czechoslovakia postal history collection in the period when the area of Czechoslovakia was in the Austro-Hungarian empire, contained in five large binders consisting of well over 100 stampless covers and letters with handstamp postmarks, most are pre-stamp but some are slightly later in the 19th century, also includes 24 documents of various types many court related and often bearing various revenue stamps, in addition there are over 140 post cards and postal cards from around the turn of the century, includes many multicolor picture cards with Austrian franking, plus military and prisoner of war cards of WWI, all of this relates to the Czechoslovakian area of this Empire, condition varies but most are fine-very fine for the period, examine. 815 og/nhO   Germany and area extensive and voluminous collection of thousands of mint and used singles, sets, souvenir sheets and booklet panes housed in 20 Safe hingeless albums with slipcases, comprised of German States (1), Bavaria and Saar (1), Danzig and Memel (1), Deutsches Reich (1), Colonies (1), WWII occupations (1), Federal Republic (5), Berlin (2) and D.D.R. (7), as a general rule these are all quite complete, but often lack the stamps that catalog over around $500.00 or so, the German States album is well filled however the condition is typically mixed, Saar is also quite complete including the two Flood Relief souvenir sheets, the Deutsches Reich is nearly complete including the IPOSTA, Nothilfe and OSTROPA souvenir sheets, plus air mails with a Zeppelin Chicago flight set mint and officials, these being in the second Berlin album, The Federal Republic is complete mint n.h. to 2004, including the post horns (lacks a few inexpensive issues), Berlin is also complete to 1990 and DDR is complete to 1990, again lacking a few inexpensive items, while the colonies are weak, also includes two Scott albums with a mostly used collection including an OSTROPA souvenir sheet, some faults noted, mostly among the earlier issues and a few forgeries are noted, overall quite clean and mostly o.g., l.h., n.h. or used, fine-very fine; a valuable collection which deserves a thorough viewing. 818 ogOblBP   Germany mint and used collection in Scott Specialty album, starts with a modest amount of German States with a concentration in Prussia and Saxony, good representation of 19th century Germany proper and the various issues of the Germania sets, we note used blocks of up to full sheets of 25 of some Mark values including two blocks of four and a full sheet of the 5M Slate and Carmine on both watermarked and unwatermarked paper, includes regular, semi-postals and airmails to 1967, includes numerous booklet panes, and se-tenant multiples from booklet sheets, there is an OSTROPA souvenir sheet and better commemoratives and semi-postals mint and used, also includes some French occupation issues and Berlin plus some Third Reich material, found throughout are some varieties identified by Michel that adds some spice to this collection, generally o.g. or used with an occasional n.h. item present, overall fine-very fine.
