381 c   1904 Louisiana Purchase small group of ten covers or cards in binder, all addressed to Dikran Khan Kelekian, the Commissioner General for Persia, seven bearing Exposition stamps, virtually all with Exposition corner cards, including one large circular bearing 1902-03 1c to the commissioner's office in New York from the Division of Exhibits, eight items addressed to the Exposition Grounds, one on illustrated #U395, one cover bearing a 3c pair, another with the 2c (2) and 6c in postage dues, some small faults, larger items showing edge faults but much attractive; interesting biographical details of Mr. Kelekian who was a prominent art dealer who died in January 1951 when he fell to his death from the twenty-first floor of the St. Moritz hotel in New York. 382 c   Official cover lot of 31 covers and one piece, includes ten cover with official adhesives including a United States Internal Revenue legal size cover with a nice pair of the 3c Treasury, seven covers used with Interior Dept. stamps including a Land Office cover with 1c and 2c franking, other six covers with 3c frankings on covers of various bureaus within the Department of Interior including two Bureau of Education covers accompanied by additional unused 3c soft paper interior affixed to a smaller envelope for paid return, also thirteen penalty envelopes and cards of various departments and a couple of postal entires, eight covers in all are legal size, rest are small size, normal postal wear and a few faults are present, mostly fine-very fine; examine.
