711 ogbl S.G. #26,b,c imageS.G. #26,b,c, 1920 20P Pale gray, Jerusalem I, first setting, impressive block of 24 being two full horizontal rows, pos. 205-16/217-28, containing two major overprint varieties, position 205 shows the withdrawn Arabic "z" variety and position 215 shows the Hebrew characters transposed, also there are two other varieties in pos. 217 Type 13 and pos. 227 Type 23b (Bale 26C, 26D), the entire block is especially well centered and fresh, o.g., five stamps in the top row are hinged including the "z' error, all the rest including the other three varieties are never hinged, extremely fine; a remarkably rare multiple of this high value of which both certificate state that this strip is quite possibly unique;1993 Michael Bale and 1998 Jacques Kaufmann certificates (Scott #25 var.). 712 O 48a image#48a, 1922 1m Dark brown, inverted overprint, London II, perf. 14, an incredibly rare and remarkably handsome example of this error of the Waterlow and Sons printing, this error is only known used and this example is one of the finest examples known, being wonderfully well centered amid large balanced margins, a slight trace of perf. toning at top right mentioned for accuracy and totally insignificant on this rarity, extremely fine; this is the rarest of all errors in the Palestine Mandate issues, and interestingly all examples of this error have an inverted watermark as well; a rare opportunity to acquire a stamp that is missing in virtually all collections; 1993 Michael Bale certificate (S.G. #71b; £12,000). H. Muentz certificate and the coil signed by Norman J.
