Lot Symbol CatNo. Lot Description CV or Estimate
421 ogbl 143L7 image#143L7, Wells, Fargo & Co., 10c Brown, partial sheet of 25 consisting of two panes of ten and a right half pane of five, unused without gum as always, margins just clear at left to huge with full sheet selvages at top and bottom, light vertical folds affect the second vertical row and the last right vertical row, toning in the top right stamp, very fine appearance; full sheets of 40 are not listed in Scott for this value and we were unable to determine the existence of any, the multiples that we were able to find were blocks of eight or less, not even being full panes of ten, this block of 25 has to be one of the largest multiples extant and a lovely exhibition piece; catalog value is for four blocks of four, four pairs and a single.
