621 ogO   British Commonwealth valuable and expansive collection filling 27 albums, encompasses the entire British Commonwealth from the reign of Victoria to Queen Elizabeth II through the 1970s, includes British North America, Caribbean, Europe, Far East, Australia/New Zealand, South Pacific and South Atlantic, with the only exception of British Africa which was not collected, even includes Great Britain and the Channel Islands, strength is equally spread across each area with the collection being replete in sets, blocks, singles, booklets, and especially varieties such as color shades, inverts, surcharge errors, perforations, watermarks and much more, some of which is only listed in S.G., also included are the straightforward common design types (1935 Silver Jubilee, 1948 Silver Wedding, etc.), definitives and commemoratives of which many exceed $500.00 in catalog value and highly saleable, condition of the collection is better than typically seen with much being incredibly fresh and clean in either mint or used condition, vast majority of the collection is fine-very fine; an opportunity that is well worth viewing carefully. 625   British Commonwealth Reference pile of forged cancellations, overprints, alterations, cleaned and no opinion stamps, heavy in Malaya and states with forged Japanese overprints, includes 57 certs with most being BPA certs but also a few APS and Sismondo certs, plus a number of other questionable uncertified items which even include a Cayman Islands 1907-08 2½p surcharge (Scott #20) with clear APS cert and negative BPA cert, includes a range of items from the totally bogus to the deceivingly convincing and should prove to be valuable as reference.
