1921 ogOc   Canada impressive mostly used 19th Century collection in a homemade album covering the 1851 to 1859 issues, with duplication throughout including numerous shades and some cancels, the 1851 Issue includes to 6p on covers, the 1852 Issue contains numerous 3p values and well as several 6p shades, plus two of the 1857 ½p Rose, a few of the 1858 Perforated Pence including a 6p on cover with Great Western Railway corner card, the 1859 Cents issue is the most comprehensive, with numerous example of each value (a few are unused), some multiples including a strip of four of the 10c, and some covers including a pair of 5c on all-over illustrated Steam Engine envelope and a pair of 17c on cover to England, while there are some small faults present, the stamps were chosen for their freshness and overall attractive appearance, with many fine to very fine stamps present; an excellent collection well worth close inspection. 1922 c   Canada interesting cover lot of 48 mostly 19th Century items, a few with the 1859 Issue including a 1c used on newspaper, single ½c usages such as 1882 ½c Black on unaddressed circular and 1898 ½c Black used on "The Canada Stamp Sheet" booklet, some Jubilee issues, some covers additionally franked with a registry or special delivery stamp, including one 1890 registered cover to Turkey, slightly mixed condition. 1923 og/nh   Canada clean mint collection to 1985 (pages go to 1988) in four Safe albums, only a handful of early stamps, really starts at the Jubilee issue and includes values to the 50c, turn-of-the-century features many medium priced stamps, good run from 1920 onward including coils, booklet panes and some modern varieties, plus back-of-the-book, condition is quite nice throughout, with most being very fine (or better) and a large percentage never hinged. 1924 og/nhO   Canada voluminous mint and used collection to 2008 housed in 28 large stockbooks with duplication throughout, includes both mint and used to the 1970s, then all mint including plate blocks with numerous matched sets, booklets and souvenir sheets in small quantities, most of the value lies in the 20th century with most 50c and $1.00 values mint, 1930s mint blocks of four including #195-201, and substantial cumulative face value in modern issues, the earlier issues in mixed condition, mostly fine-very fine, o.g., l.h., n.h. or used from the 1920s. 1925 ogO   Canada and provinces mint and used collection mostly in mounts housed in a Scott album, the provinces are scattered, with Newfoundland being the best, most of the value lies in Canada starting with Large Queens and continuing with Jubilee to 50c, some mint 20th century 50c and $1.00 values, and virtually complete mostly mint from 1945 to 1988, as well as back-of-the-book, some faults largely confined to the 19th century, otherwise mainly fine-very fine. 1927 BK   Canada booklet collection of many dozens, with some early items cataloging a couple hundred dollars each, but much is of QEII vintage, with duplication and some varieties, plus a few panes, the unexploded booklets catalog around $1,400.00, but in addition there are three better ones (#BK4a and two BK4b) that are exploded and missing only the staple, some have the catalog number written lightly in pencil on the cover, mainly fine-very fine. 1928 ogblc   Canada semi-official airpost collection offered intact as received in an album, includes mint singles, tete-beche pairs, blocks, flown covers and plenty of varieties (i.e. double and inverted overprints), some items still on original auction lot cards, better items noticed were Aero Club of Canada (#CL1) on flown Sept. 4 cover and mint tete-beche pair (#CL2a), Laurentide Air complete unexploded booklet (#CL2a), Northern Air mint tete-beche pair (#CL5a), Canadian Airways mint double overprint (#CL52b), plus many of the different Patricia Airways overprints in the different ascending and descending colors and inverted examples (mint examples of #CL20b, 20c, 21a were noticed), plus numerous other examples cataloging hundreds of dollars each, largely fine-very fine; careful inspection encouraged on these highly popular stamps, catalog value alone is expected to be in the range of $30,000.00. 1935 og/nhO   China (People's Republic) voluminous mostly mint collection to 2009 housed in 38 stockbooks and binders filling four large cartons, the issues to 1974 are comprised of mint and used singles and sets, with some light duplication to two or three of each, most of the value being mint, including many better sets such as 1950 Mao original printing, 1959 National Emblem, 1960 Sino-Soviet Treaty, Goldfish and Pigs, 1963 Cuban Revolution, 1963 Pandas imperforate, 1964 Chrysanthemums, 1965 Tsunyi Conference and Victory over Japan, 1966 Lu Hsun, 1967 Heroic Oil Well Fighters and 18th Anniversary, 1972 Red Flag Canal, etc., as well as early issues both original and reprints and 1946-51 Liberated Areas issues, from 1978 the collection is quite complete, but for the better souvenir sheets, and often includes two sets of each, then from 1981 there are generally blocks of four of each and first day covers, as well as booklets and three or four souvenir sheets of each, some earlier issues l.h. or with minor gum problems, vast majority n.h., nearly all very fine. 1939 og/nh   Egypt mint collection to 1999 neatly mounted in a Minkus album using hingeless mounts, collection looks complete except for the 1956 Boy Scout souvenir sheet, includes high values sets including the 1866 First issue, 1867 Second issue, 1872-75 Third issue, 1926 Port Fouad overprints, 1934 10th Congress of UPU set, 1932 100m on £1 surcharge, 1938 £1 King Farouk, among many other singles, sets and souvenir sheets, back of the book looks to be complete including the British Forces in Egypt, also includes complete Occupation of Palestine, a very clean and well put together collection ripe for continuation, overall condition looks to be very fine with some faults to be expected here and there, some early sets with some without o.g. which is typical for period, spot check saw some higher value items being signed.
