1292 Ou 573a Image#573a, $5.00 Carmine lake and dark blue, a visually striking used single, being in a quality unmatched by an other we have seen, with enormously large margins all around and being precisely centered within these remarkable borders, deep intense colors on fresh paper, neat Chicago machine cancel, a superb stamp; while nicely centered copies of the Five Dollar Liberty are not rare, it is extremely difficult to find large margined examples, as the PSE has graded over 500 copies, but a mere 15 have been given a Jumbo designation, with this particular stamp being one of the largest margined of that group; 2010 PSE certificate (Superb 98 Jumbo; SMQ $495.00 for 98); this is the sole copy of any Five Dollar Liberty (#573, 573a, mint or used) to be awarded the exalted Superb 98 Jumbo grade, the highest in their population report.
